 Widows Rs.200/mth from the Central Government (plus whatever state contributes)
 Old age Rs. 200 from the Central government for beneficiaries aged between 60-79 years, and Rs 500 for beneficiaries aged 80 and above
 Family benefit given to BPL families, Rs 10,000 for accidental or epidemic caused death or Rs 5,000 for natural death. this entitlement is given within 4 weeks of death. 
 disability Rs 300 given by the Central government

Submit

Process

The documents are submitted to the Panchayat. The Panchayat does the inquiry and submits the documents to the Social Welfare Department. When the Social Welfare Department approves the application, the pension is deposited in the PO/ Bank account in the name of the beneficiary. If the application is rejected, the applicant must be informed. 

Receive

Collect pensions from the post office saving account. 
The Family benefit scheme is expected to be available within 4 weeks of death of primary breadwinner

Penalty

        The authority has to provide the services within 2 months from the date of receiving the complete application form. Otherwise a fine shall be         imposed on the First Appellate Authority.
