Cash Transfers
Introduction
The appropriateness of cash transfers in different contexts is still being debated in the campaign. Some cash transfers (e.g. social security pensions and maternity entitlements) have been part of the campaign’s demands for a long time. However the campaign does not support the replacement of the Public Distribution System with cash transfers. Some initial material on this issue is posted below, more is on the way.
