The National Food Security Act, 2013 guarantees:

for children below the age of 6 months: exclusive breastfeeding will be promoted

an age-appropriate "meal" which meets specified nutritional norms will be provided free of charge through the local anganwadi 

Every anganwadi shall have facilities for cooking meals, drinking water and sanitation
