Process
For each scheme except NFBS, first the Panchayat Samiti prepares the list of eligible persons from Rural Household Survey data. Gram Panchayat approves the list at Gram Sansad level and sends the Universal Coverage certificate to the Panchayat Samiti which sends this list along with the account number of the beneficiary to the Panchayat & Rural Development Department of West Bengal which incorporates the data in SEBA software and publishes the list on the website. In December every year annual verification of beneficiaries is done and corrected lists are prepared.
For NFBS, on the basis of the recommendation and inquiry report received from the Gram Panchayat, Sishu-Nari Unnayan Jana Kalyan O Tran Sthayee Samiti approves the application.
Monthly pension is disbursed through the Bank or Post Office Accounts of the pensioners
